The Mingus Project revisits the work of one of the most important North American musicians of the 20th century, an unavoidable figure in jazz, excellent double bassist and genius composer, Charles Mingus.
Bassist Nelson Cascais leads a fine quintet through a meticulous selection of Mingus' works, featuring alto saxophonist Ricardo Toscano, trumpeter Diogo Duque, pianist Victor Zamora and drummer Vasco Furtado.
